The Health Food Manufacturers’ Association (HFMA) is reminding brands and retailers not to miss out on attending its forthcoming seminar.
‘Future proofing your business to support the healthy lifestyle of tomorrow’s consumers’ is the theme of the HFMA’s inaugural Autumn Seminar, bringing industry together to learn, exchange ideas, be inspired and most importantly to connect with like-minded people.
Hosted and facilitated by David Domoney, TV gardener, author and plant profiler (pictured), the event is being held at No 1 Wimpole Street, with speakers discussing all aspects of how we can future proof our industry, support the health of the nation and look after ourselves and our businesses. Speakers include Camilla Young, Programme Lead at GS1, talking on ‘From Product to Platform: Preparing for the Next Generation of Consumer Engagement’, while Lynda Scammell, Head of Borderline Products at MHRA, will present on ‘The MHRA: our role and how this impacts on your products’. Paul Berryman, HFMA Technical Adviser, will discuss ‘Food Supplements: Navigating the Regulatory Landscape’.
Martin Last, HFMA Director General, commented: “Our inaugural Autumn Seminar brings together high-profile experts and forward-thinking speakers along with the opportunity for the industry to gather together for a learning, inspirational and networking event. With a wide range of topics that are relevant to our whole industry and helping us future proof our market whilst building on what tomorrow’s consumer is looking for. Sponsorship and trade participation opportunities will be presented in due courses. We look forward to welcoming the industry to what we plan to be a regular event in the calendar.”
Open to retailers, practitioners, suppliers, manufacturers and relevant to anyone in the natural products industry, tickets are selling fast, with attendees representing over 35 different companies already. And, as part of the day, there will be plenty of time for attendees to visit the exhibitions stands in the atrium, prior to the start of the day and during an extended lunch period.
