After noticing the absence of a trade show specifically designed for health stores in Ireland, Graeme Hume Managing Director of Pravera, alongside his colleagues Samantha Brown and Leanne Stephenson have been working tirelessly for the last six months to bring you something different.
Pravera, distributors for Lavera, Benecos, Organyc and many other organic and natural brands, took to the road from their base in Scotland to four corners of Ireland – Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway, to take the show to Irish retailers.
From the 18-22 September, Pravera set up their brands at hotels in the locality and invited retailers to drop in between 3pm and 9pm for a chat, refreshments and to discuss their brands and the philosophy behind their brands.
By scrutinizing the ingredients, the production factory, the natural and organic certification label, Pravera products are tried and tested. They want to make it easy for retailers to purchase products with the knowledge that they are what they say they are – “pure, natural, organic.”
And not just this, every visitor left with a goody bag of products of their choice!
Graeme expressed that though a hectic few days, the trip was well worth the effort. “We had the best response from Cork, Limerick and Galway and plan to repeat next year.”
Due to the success and demand for their trade show, Leanne is scheduled to visit more retailers as they noticed there was a gap for natural and organic brands and a lot of opportunity to develop their sales.
On show, Pravera had a display of the latest Benecos range, Jo Browne’s Irish made perfume sticks, products from their new organic tattoo range and many more!
Next year the Pravera team hope to work in partnership with an ethical supplement brand and novel food brand to give greater reason to visit and give retail stores more variety of products on offer at their showcase.
