A leading retailer is marking four decades in business with the launch of a new cutting edge website.
The Nutrition Centre has unveiled what its owners describe as a “nutrition wonderland” experience, allowing people the chance to explore and get lost in a fantasy natural world inhabited by animal characters, providing a fun and colourful browsing experience.
The new website, which can be found at www.nutritioncentre.co.uk, comes as the business celebrates its 40th year.
Clare Galpin, a Director of Nutrition Centre and granddaughter of its founder, Ernest Galpin, says: “Since being founded by Ernest Galpin as a small, local health food store in Cheltenham in December 1972, one of the first of its kind, the Nutrition Centre has grown to be a major pioneer in the natural health store market. With four renowned, trailblazing stores in Gloucestershire, the business has taken its services to the wider global village since going online in 2005, now in demand all over the world. Our new state of the art site is a testament to the business’ success over the past 40 years.”
The website’s innovative navigational structure provides a number of unique and easy to use features to enhance the browsing experience, and is tailored to be user-friendly on tablets and smart phones. In addition to the usual search by category functionality, visitors can also now search by ingredient.
Product filters further simplify the selection process as a user can browse products within the desired price range, peruse the most up to date, search for featured items, or scan products alphabetically.
A loyalty scheme provides another distinctive feature, allowing regular online shoppers to earn points and there is also a blog on the website.
As part of its 40th anniversary celebrations this year, the Nutrition Centre is running a series of promotions and special offers throughout the year, so be sure to check the website regularly for updates.
